my take on time........
I believe in eternalism. Time is a dimension in physics just like space i.e. time is just another dimension and that future events are already there, and there is no objective flow of time.
If you have read my blog diligently you might have noticed in one of my posts that --------
In my search for the truth, I happened to read something. According to it the only path to liberation is truth and the truth is, “YOU WILL HAVE TO GIVE UP THE HOPE THAT THE PAST COULD BE ANY DIFFERENT."
So ideally all things in this universe is fixed by karma. We are nothing but mere puppets playing out the role or merely acting as props in Gods blockbuster.

buzz word is maturity or the state of the mind when you can see the truth. there is no irony but merely the direction of ones life in this universe.

really???....well speaking of maturity....it is kind of an easy escape from the responsibilities of having made things any better!
The truth that u'r talking about has been negated way back in the post-nineteenth century London(the age of the philosophers like Soren Kierkegaard & Friedrich Nietzsche)by the intrusion of Darwinism that reinstated the faithlessness once perceived in the Victorian era!

PS:Its just a perspective suprateep....U'r alwys free not to accede to it!

and....the irony still remains when u state that:
" ideally all things in this universe is fixed by karma. We are nothing but mere puppets playing out the role or merely acting as props in Gods blockbuster."

If ur talking about the "karma-phala" or fruits of action as mentioned in Hindu philosophy, then the "karma" u've mentioned is the action of our "present life"...that determines the "phala" of our future state of existence!Having said that u cannot possibly deny the concept of "free-will"......!!
Think about it.... :)

do not fight just for the sake of it........
do not argue just for the sake of it.........
do not die or live just for the sake of it.......

.........it can be the classic example of chicken or egg or maybe the teachings of gita or mahabharata........ultimately we take decisions that in some way or other affect the outcome of future happenings but again the present is governed by our past actions. So it might be stated that we all are in a vicious cycle of existence that somehow cannot be explained.

Only when we accept destiny and live by the rules (which we ourselves formulate to be conducive to our own existence) and do the dutiful and it must be borne in mind that karma refers to the totality of our actions and their concomitant reactions in this and previous lives, all of which determines our future. So again it can be equated to the classic example of the chicken or egg. Accept life because the concept of zero does not necessarily exist in life nor can be explained well by karma.

PS: The philosophical explanation of karma can differ slightly between traditions, but the general concept is basically the same. Through the law of karma, the effects of all deeds actively create past, present, and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to him/her and others. The results or 'fruits' of actions are called karma-phala. In religions that incorporate reincarnation, karma extends through one's present life and all past and future lives as well.

and i guess my anonymous friend needs to put some thought on his/her own beliefs and laws of existence. Or rather time is the best teacher to educate you (if I may say so....) on karma and karma-phala. It does to everyone .......almost.

Thanks....i surely will "put some thought on my beliefs & laws of existence" but only to stick to them&better them for carrying them forward to my desired course of life!

The comprehension of life has always been shaped according to the affability of available circumstances.I don't believe in either an after-life or a past-life.My present life is too meaningfully consequential for me to look for meanings anywhere beyond it.So i can't spoil the spontaneity of performing my heart out only to conform to the "duties"that the world forcefully imposes on us.The choice is mine-good or bad!& one should have the courage to see life in the face....not to give in to it but to change it!

PS:It is indeed the story of the chicken & the egg....the difference is in the fact that circumstances (might be or might not be)are predetermined...but we all work under a concept of "free-will" which states that "CHARACTER IS DESTINY!"
